What is Miro?

Miro is an online, visual collaboration platform that functions as a digital whiteboard and accelerates collaboration, innovation and creativity. Miro can be used to build user story maps, wireframing, brainstorming, product management, workshopping, planning and many more. The product allows you to take notes, create designs and communicate with your team members with built-in communication channels. It was founded in 2011 by Andrey Khusid and Oleg Shardin as RealtimeBoard and was rebranded as Miro in 2019.
