What is Adobe Animate?

Adobe Animate, formerly known as "Flash," is a 2D digital animation application developed by Adobe Inc., which is used for computer animation.

Adobe Animate has a wide variety of use cases, ranging from vector graphics design to TV series animation, website development, web application creation, and game design.

Initially released as FutureSplash Animator, it was later rebranded as Flash after its acquisition by Macromedia. In 2016, it underwent another name change to Adobe Animate, moving away from the "Flash" branding to better reflect its position in the animation market.
